I believe that everyone has the ability to know wellness. I provide a therapeutic approach that is honest and supportive, offering practical feedback and skills to help individuals effectively address personal life challenges. Throughout my thirty-year career helping children and families, I have come to rely on my own long-term meditation practice combined with my formal training to bring this approach to individuals. I practice mindful movement (Tai Chi Chuan or Chi Gong) and Insight meditation daily, often in the outdoors where I receive a sense of grounded presence.
I am committed to being fully present in a session. When mindfulness and compassion are present, I find that I am well equipped to explore the challenges presented, assist in awareness of physical sensations as issues arise in the session, and to discover together options and practices for healing and growth. I integrate complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each person. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I have a strong foundation in traditional clinical models and Mindfulness oriented models including I Bowen Family Systems Theory, Mindful Self Compassion, MBSR. Mindfulness-based interventions allow for deep listening, opportunities for guided practice and support to bring skillful means into every moment. The result is a process of becoming someone who lives life fully, with all that is.

I’m a dreamer and I’ll try almost anything at least once. This combination has led me down many unique paths. I’ve experienced the film world, the environmentalism world, the philosophical world, you name it. All of which has led me to the juiciest, most exciting world of them all. The human world. I became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach because I believe that most of us aren’t living at our full potential and I want to provide people with the right tools and guidance to reach that potential.
I coach using a peer-to-peer model that allows my clients to become empowered to take their wellbeing into their own hands. My philosophy is that my clients are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. We just get misguided along the way and need some help re-aligning with our core values and learning how to navigate life’s challenges instead of being knocked down by them. I work with people to help them connect with their core so they can become their whole self and live an energetic life that’s true to them. I’m passionate about helping people step into a life of choice instead of a life of circumstance. It’s easy to let life’s circumstances take the wheel, but when we start living a conscious life of choice, everything opens up for us. We no longer need to succumb to life’s demands, barely paddling to stay afloat. Instead, we can learn how to peacefully float on life’s waters as we live a life that honors our whole selves.
